So, Eternal Suffering Awaits Anyone Who Questions Gawd’s Infinite Love? Just think about that.

Greetings and welcome to my article, where I offer my arguments against religion. I have three main gripes about religion:

  1. First and foremost, religions are a priori fraudulent. The pagan myths and fables that underpin all religions are absurd, ludicrous and idiotic, puerile and downright silly. Stated another way, it’s all bullshit! Religion is man-made. Even the men who crafted it cannot agree on what their prophets or redeemers or gurus said or did. Still less can they hope to tell us the “meaning” of later discoveries and developments which were, when they began, either obstructed or denounced by their religions.
  2. Next, because religion has been weaponized and used to justify every manner of pernicious, harmful, inimical acts throughout recorded history
    1. Throughout history, religious differences have been a significant factor causing myriad conflicts and wars. Due to the complexity of conflicts, overlapping motivations and varying interpretations, it’s impossible to provide a precise number of wars directly attributed to religion However, religion has undoubtedly played a role in numerous historical conflicts throughout human history. Some well-known examples include the Crusades, the Thirty Years’ War, purging of the Huguenots in France, conflicts in the Middle East and sectarian violence in places like Northern Ireland. It’s important to note that while religion can be a significant factor in conflicts, other factors such as politics, economics and social issues contribute as well.
    2. Religious beliefs have often been used to justify discrimination and persecution against certain groups (religious minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals and others deemed “heretical” or “impure).”
    3. At various points in history, religious institutions have suppressed scientific knowledge inquiry and knowledge that contradicted their doctrines, leading to periods of intellectual stagnation and hindering scientific progress.
    4. Religious beliefs have been used to justify human rights violations including slavery, forced conversions, genital mutilation, honor killings and the subjugation of women.

    3. Finally, because religion stymies individual emotional and intellectual development. “Believing” in religion diminishes, or removes entirety, the most basic characteristic of human beings – the right to impact their destiny by using their innate intellect to form opinions as to how the world operates. “Believing” in the bullshit that is the entirety of every religion stymies one’s intellectual development, and thus one’s potential to fulfill one’s highest achievements.

Before going further allow me to affirm that I can spell words correctly. Also, note that I confine this article to the christian religion (which I know better);  however, their objectives are identical.  In order to mock christ-insanity I refer to “jesus” as “gee-zus”, I refer to the “bible” as the “buy bull” and I refer to “god” as “gawd”. The most basic statement I make is that “gawd is a fraud”.

This piece is full of derision, ridicule, scorn and sneering for any and all things associated with christ-insanity (by extension to any religion. This article is replete with mockery, contempt and disdain for religion. And for anyone who believes (or more likely pretends to believe) in any religion.

We’ll look briefly into where distortions of christ-insanity have brought us in the United States in 2024. In the ultimate irony, the convenient idiot and poster boy for today’s christofascist movement, boys and girls I give you donald trump (whom I impolitely refer to as “diaper boy”).

One is hard pressed to find anyone that is the polar opposite to traditional “christian values” than diaper boy. We’ll discuss this out of necessity (not because I want to think about diaper boy any more than the media forces me to).  I prefer to think of the christofascists in terms of the following (showing of course the “important” matters they focus on):

    New term Evangenitals

Essentially, christofascist movements pose a threat to democracy by undermining its core values, institutions and practices, and by promoting authoritarian and exclusionary ideologies that are fundamentally at odds with democratic principles.

What’s the point of all of this? That, like those who hide behind the myths and outright lies about gee-zus and gawd, an Atheist Alliance must form to battle the real life forces of evil – the puppet masters who perpetuate the lies. As they aggregate ever more wealth, as they destroy the planet we live in – the masses are less and less able to keep even the crumbs we currently have.
